Bann Kau Tok
|
A small Restaurant and bar with a stage where music is played on wednesday, friday and Saturday from 12:00 to midnigh. The owner Mr Aud is one of Thailands best known guitar player and he always invite you to join the band if you like. Here I have experienced a couple of true magic momets.

The Garden
|
Is a beutiful garden in front of a small guesthuse where there is a retaurant and a bar of course. On sundays the have live bands playing from 21:00 until midnight. Same on wednesdays. On thuesday it´s jammingtime or rehersal with diferent bands and constellations and you can bring your instrument or your voice and join the band.
Its also a "hangaroundplace" for many "webmasters" and "computerfreaks" (I am one of them). Where we meet and discuss the latest tip & tricks in html, php, picture developments and stuff...

Guitarman
|
Is Chiang Mais hard rock coffé shop. You get food, drinks all day and music starts at 21;00. Mostly there are a 3 man band playing at least in the erly hours of the evening. At several occations I have seen up to 12 people on the sceen rocking the roof off.
Music style is mostly rock, blues and covers. As every restaurant or baar it closes by midnigt. |

|
A bar with a stage and a backline, drums and some instrument where its jamming almoast every night. Many styles rock, funk, jazz, rap you name it its there sometime. |

| In Chiang Mai there are many more bars/retaurants wher you can listen to live music. In the area sourounding the big university you will find a lot of small places where local bands playing. |

The Master Thai Chef Cookery Course. Have mainly 4 difernet classes half-day, one-day, two-day class, as well as a short evening course.
I can ashure you the classes is full of action and you learn many things you did not know before. Some facts and some ment more as a joke but I had a lot of fun and can recomend it. |

Blue Diamond
|
Blue Diamond is a vegetarian restaurant they use localy produced fresh vegatables.
This is my favorite breakfast place opens at 07:00 monday - saturday (sunday closed). A cup of hot chocklate, an avocado sandwish, 2 fried eggs 80THB !
They have big signs saying NO SMOKING and it´s very nice to have a meal wiyhout some stupid smoker posining your air.
